Shore Details Booking & Payment Policy
PRE-BOOKINGS: We are happy to accept reservations for the 2019 rental season AND we take NO ADVANCE PAYMENT! That’s right at Shore Details just give us a call and we’ll hold your vacation dream! But wait there’s more good news! You don’t have to wait; our calendar is open all year long to everyone! That’s right, it’s always first come first serve so be sure to call today!
Next year’s rates are posted by August 1st when you’ll be able to book right online before that date just give us a call or chat online, we’ll hold your week… no problem! In October you’ll receive your vacation rental agreement with your first payment due on the 15th. Final payment will be due 45 days prior to your arrival date.
If payment is not received by the due date the reservation will be cancelled. Bookings made before August 1 remain tentative and will be based on the home’s availability in the Shore Details rental program for the following year. But don’t worry we have a great selection of homes and will always be able to find you a home that is perfect for you and your family!
GUEST CANCELLATION POLICY: In the event of a cancellation by Tenant, Tenant shall receive a refund of all payments (minus $250 cancellation fee) made by Tenant if cancelled ninety (90) days or more prior to the check-in date, or if the Premises are re-rented prior to check-in date and for advertised rate including all management fees. If the Premises are not re-rented, the tenant will not be entitled to a refund of any rent payment made hereunder. Shore Details will make every effort to re-rent the property, however, should the property remain vacant for the term of the reservation there will be a 100% cancellation charge. (If you have purchased trip cancellation insurance at the time of making your reservation, please refer to your policy for instructions on recovering your loss due to a cancellation.) Whether or not the Premises are re-rented, Tenant shall be responsible for seeking reimbursement of any fees paid by Tenant to Owner for goods, services, or benefits procured by Owner from third parties for the benefit of Tenant that may have been paid out prior to Tenant’s cancellation.
PAYMENTS: Half rent and all fees and other consideration including travel insurance are due and payable at time of booking. Second payment consisting of half rent will be due 30 days prior to arrival date. We utilize automated payments, meaning 2nd payments (and all payments after initial) will automatically post to cc on file. Guests will receive email reminders of upcoming charge(s) before posting date.
